I was skeptical at first as to what the real benefit of buying fancy brand trucks would be. Now I think it is totally worth it. I went had mini logos which were okay for learning. The main difference for me is these ones can be ridden looser for better turning while still being consistently stable during turns. The hollow difference is kind of minimal to me but whatever - my Ollies can use all the help they can get. I love low set kingpin and flat bar too for grinds - I was always paranoid the cheaper trucks were going to get stuck
