Comfortable, grippy, bit of ankle protection, stylish enough to wear to cafe/pub etc apres bike ride, and strong enough to survive the circle pits and walls of death of Hellfest. And all this for the price of a pair of K Mart sneakers, as Mr Burns would say "Excellent"
