Im from 1981, by 15 I became a skate snob... it happens, no longer tollerating culdesacs, treelined smooth streets and park benches. I had progressed to halfpipe, bowl, big trans parks and bombing dodgy hills. While Im not a huge guy I ride heavy footed and at or beyond my limit of skill and point of ballance. I crash and slam a lot. Not steezy like the Hawk or Anderson, Im rough on my gear my body and it shows. I limp for 200 days of most years. I dont know why truck companys talk up their wares about how strong they are because I have never ever not once bent or snapped an axle or main truck component ever. I have snapped half a dozen boards a tendon and a few bones not counting fingers and toes but never so much as bent a truck. In saying that like I said at 15 I became a skate snob. Got my first set of indys and never looked back or sideways. This purchase is my second set, nowadays they weigh less and claim to be stronger. This is not a testament of loyalty but to the fact everything around indys breaks and wears out. And now I have two complete park/ramp setups. Only difference is one has coping burn halfway to the axles and I wont live long enough to see the other set so worn in.
